The Open Hearts Conference
In September 2024, we held the Open Hearts Conference. The conference centred on the wellbeing of young people, encouraging them to embrace vulnerability as a strength that can deepen their sense of purpose and calling. During the event, we proudly launched the Care Package initiative.

Who is My Neighbour Conference
In September 2025, we held the Who is My Neighbour Conference, this featured a special guest speaker, Dave Fawcett, who delivered a powerful message on the importance of supporting one another within a community, particularly during times of grief and bereavement. The session highlighted the value of compassion, shared experiences, and collective healing in navigating life’s most challenging moments.

Vessels of Compassion London Launch
In June 2025, the London Launch. This event was centred on bringing Vessels of Compassion UK to London and the surrounding areas, with the goal of building meaningful initiatives locally. We held a wonderful event where panellists spoke about our mission, our work, and how we hope to foster a connected and supportive community in London.

Relaunch on Vessels of Compassion in September 2018.
After years of dormancy, we resumed our activities in 2018 and extended invitations to select previous beneficiaries and supporters to participate in our relaunch.

Launch of the book ‘Let the Healer In’ Feb 2020
“Let the Healer In” by Helen Aigbe-Joseph that looks at the many faces of grief and loss with its challenge and the inevitable seasons of recovery. It looks at God’s comfort in despair, depression and hardship and reminds us that we are never alone.
It provides us the hope not just to cope with grief but to overcome grief.
Helen participated in a Q&A session in which she discussed the contents of her book, its origins, the reasons for writing it, and the importance of understanding these tips and experiences when navigating grief personally or supporting family and friends through it.

The Vessel Collective - Worship Night 2023
In the wake of the pandemic, we proudly launched our Annual Vessels of Compassion UK Conference, uniting our community around purposeful fundraising and a renewed commitment to sharing our mission and vision. This milestone was complemented by the debut of our music collective, The Vessel Collective, which powerfully demonstrated how music therapy can bring comfort, healing, and connection to those navigating grief and loss.
